It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Ms. Martha "Louise" Roberson Rogerson, age 91, of Dan Peele Road she passed away peacefully early Friday morning May 22, 2026, at her home with her loving family by her side.

Ms. Louise was born in Martin County on February 1, 1935, to Nolia Clyde Wynne Roberson and Judas Rier Roberson. She was a graduate of  Williamston High School class of 1954 and loved her family, reading, puzzles and doing anything outside from gardening to fishing.

Ms. Louise was predeceased by her parents, Nolia and Judas Roberson; husband, Samuel David Rogerson; two brothers: Alvis Roberson, James Roberson and two sisters: Annie Perry, Margaret Nicholson and son-in-law: Neil Styons.

Ms. Louise is survived by her two daughters:  Judy Styons, Sandi Stallings (Mark); one brother Jackie Roberson; two sisters: Janice Bass and Nancy Leggett: two grandchildren: Jessica Stallings, Justin Stallings (Angie); and two great grandchildren: Madison Stallings and Reagan Stallings.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at Rose of Sharon Free Will Baptist Church, with Pastor Roger Leggett and Caleb Hines officiating. The burial will follow in Martin Memorial Gardens. The following will serve as pallbearers: Joe Stallings, Greg Roberson, Joe Bedwell, Gary Griffin, Bobby Cherry Jr., Mason Sprouse and Honorary Pallbearers are Bud Griffin, Simon Perry, Sammy Williams and Bobby Cherry Sr.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 25, 2026, from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM at the church, and other times at her home.
