Martha Louise Jones Davis, 80 of JC Leggett Ln., died Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at Novant-New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.

Martha was born on January 12, 1943, in Martin County, to the late Hilton and Louise Nicholson Jones. She worked as a clerk with Wonder Bread. Martha was a member of Community Christian Church. She loved to watch her grandchildren play ball. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jacky Davis; brothers, David Jones, William Casey Jones, Hilton Jones, Jr. and James Jones; sisters, Molly Beach Haislip, and Elouise Fountain.

Survivors include her sons, Danny Davis (Beverly) of Greenville and Larry Davis, Jr. (Alexis) of Winterville; daughter, Sandy Morton of Williamston; brother, Henry Jones; sisters, Diana Nowak, Patricia Barber, Vera McCracken and Elizabeth Griggs; grandchildren, Cody Davis, Skyler Davis, Chelsie Manning, Eliana Davis, Tyler Davis, Mandy Davis, Chris Davis, Teka Dawn Davis, Jesse O'Neal and April O'Neal; great grandchildren, Slade Manning, River Manning, Wylde Manning, Ryleigh Davis, Brody Davis, Jeremiah Davis, Dakoda Tripp, Aden O'Neal, Channin Askew, Ryan Davis, Noah Davis and Caleb Davis, great great children, three.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Community Christian Church with Rev. Eddie Bowen officiating. Burial will follow in Martin Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Monday evening at the church from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and other times from the home. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Christian Church, 22814 NC Hwy 125 Williamston, NC 27892.
