Marie Wynne Davis, of Academy Street, died Tuesday August 28, 2018 at Vidant Inpatient Hospice in Greenville.  Marie was born in Martin County to the late John L. and Winnie Mobley Wynne and predeceased by a brother, Edward Wynne and two sisters, Eunice Perry and Betty Lou Edwards.  She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church in Williamston and was a retired bookkeeper with several employers.

A graveside funeral service will be held Friday August 31, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Greenleaf Memorial Park, 900 River Road in New Bern, NC.  The family will receive friends Thursday August 30 ^th at Walker Funeral Home, Williamston from 7-8:30 PM.

She is survived by her husband, John Carter Davis, daughter, Emma Beth Baker and husband, Robert; grandson, Dustin Davis; great granddaughter, Anzley Kemmerer; sister, Joyce Perry.
