Margaret Ann "Memock" Spruill Pierce, 84, of Queen Street, Windsor, went to be with her heavenly Father on October 23, 2025, at ECU Medical Center with her loving family by her side. Mrs. Pierce was born March 5, 1941, in Norfolk, VA to the late Lon Ray Spruill and Jessie Phelps Spruill. She is also preceded in death by her husband and the love of her life, Spencer Legray Pierce. Margaret retired from the Bertie County Sheriff's office as a secretary to the Sheriff and was a co-owner of Spencer Snack Bar with her late husband until 2003 when her daughter, Nancy, took over. Margaret was known to many as "Memock"; she was a loving mother, best friend to her children, and adored her "grandyoungins" and "great grandyoungins".  Margaret was a member of Windsor Assembly of God. She was a God fearing woman, a prayer warrior and was always worried about others.

"Memock" is survived by her daughter, Nancy and husband, Vic Thompson of Merry Hill; son, Adal and wife, Jackie Pierce of Windsor; sister, Gail and husband Gaylord Goehring and daughter Amber of South Dakota; grandchildren, Matt (Brittany), Lewis (Kristy), Mason (Chelsea), Mandy (Ryan), Logan, Lon, Jessica (Jamie), and Tori (Justin); great grandchildren, Bryce, Briley, Heidi, Harper, Raelynn, Henry, RaeLynn, Korbin, Cohen-Ray, Harry, Skylar, Gavin, Laim, and Emerson.

A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Edgewood Cemetery with Pastor Chuck Gray officiating.
