Margaret Ray Daniels Oder 96, of US 13 North, passed away Monday April 22, 2024, at Three Rivers Nursing Home. She was born in Bertie County on December 18, 1927, to the late Frank and Maude White Ray and was predeceased by her two husbands, Wilbur "Skeet" Daniels and Francis Oder; brothers, Lewis Rhea, William Jacob Ray, and Thomas Ray.

Margaret was a member of Lawrence Baptist Church. She was a nursing assistant, caring for the elderly. She loved to work in her garden and refinish furniture. She had worked as a seamstress with Blue Bell and worked on the farm with her husband.

A funeral service will be held Thursday April 25, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the Walker Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery in Windsor, NC. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.

She is survived by a daughter, Oma Faye Askew and husband, Billy of Ahoskie; sons, Wilbur Ray Daniels and wife Bertha, Leonard "Froot" Daniels (Sharon deceased) all of Windsor; George Stanley Daniels and wife Karen of Washington; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
