Anthony "Tony" E. Bowen 43, died Tuesday November 27, 2018 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. Tony was a Lieutenant with the Town of Williamston police force.  He was a member of the First Christian Church and the Fraternal Order of Police. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Ernestine and Stanley Leggett and his paternal grandparents, Judie and Fannie Bowen.

A memorial service will be held Saturday December 1, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Macedonia Christian Church with full police honors.

Survivors include his two daughters, Alaina and Aliannah Bowen of Washington; mother and stepfather, Shirley Perry Cooper and Jack Cooper of Merry Hill; father Freddie Bowen of Windsor; stepbrother, Wally Moore of Greenville.
