Dateline- Windsor

Louise Asbell Stancil, 84 of Windsor passed away in the early morning hours Saturday, May 31, 2025. Louise was born on December 31, 1940 to the late Kelly Lee and Gracie Castellow Asbell. Lousie worked at Untied Piece Dye Works for 37 years until her retirement. She was a member of Greens Cross Baptist Church and she enjoyed being outside working in her yard or walking enjoying nature.

Louise was predeceased in death in addition to her parents by a brother, Shelton Asbell.

Louise is survived by her daughter, Paige Byrum Taylor ( Keith) of Williamston: a brother, James "Travis" Asbell of Glouster, VA, and granddaughter Lauren Nicole Taylor.

A graveside service will be held at Edgewood Cemetery on Friday, June 6, 2025 at 3:00 with Mike Hoggard and Will Hoggard officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside service.
