Louis Harold "Pete" Rhea passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at his residence in Windsor.  Pete was born on January 26, 1937 to Tink Rhea and Mildred Daniels Rhea. He attended Bertie County Schools and later worked as a foreman for the City of Hampton until he retired. Pete loved to hunt, fish and go bowling. Pete is predeceased by his parents, wife Norma Pierce Rhea, and a brother Riley Edward Rhea.

He is survived by sons: Timothy Louis Rhea of Hampton, VA, Michael Clifton Rhea (Tammy) of Windsor; daughter Teresa Rhea Craig (Pete) of Hampton, VA; sister Ann Britt of Williamston, and sister in-law Rena Rhea of Hampton, VA; seven grandchildren; eleven greatgrandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday September 28, 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Walker Funeral Home Chapel in Windsor. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the home on South King St.
