Mr. Louis Edward Chapman Jr. 79, of 6097 Hassell Road, Robersonville, NC passed away Tuesday July 23, 2024, at Raleigh Duke Hospital in Raleigh NC. He was born in Martin County on April 17,1945, to the late Elsie and Louis Edward Chapman Sr. Mr. Louis Jr. helped his parents farm in Robersonville for many years. Mr. Louis Jr. continued to help the local farmers with seasonal help. Mr. Louis was a member of the Ruritan Club and a well-known track official at East Carolina Motor Speedway in Robersonville, NC.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Walker Funeral Home Chapel in Williamston and the visitation will be one hour prior to service. There will be no graveside service. Pastor Chris Minton will be officiating the service.

He is survived by three daughters, Celina C. Uribe (Adrian) of Sanford, Sherrie Suggs of Sanford, Janice Hayes of Lucama; four sisters, Linda Keel of Robersonville, Shirley Coker (Odis) of Oak City, Sandra Thigpen of Deep Run, Betty Bullock of Robersonville and one brother, Elliott Chapman of Robersonville; his Loving grandchild, Louis Banks (Taylor) of Jamesville and two great grandchildren, Bryson & Briley Banks of Jamesville along with a host of nieces and nephews.

The Louis Chapman Jr. family will be receiving family and friends at the home of his sister, Betty Bullock 6049 Hassell Road, Robersonville.
