Lorenza Ben "L. B," Swain 82, a resident of the Windsor House and formerly of Vincent Drive in Windsor, died Thursday December 5, 2019. He was born in Bertie County August 31, 1937 to the late Cepheus Winston and Sara King Swain and was predeceased by his wife, Rosa E Mulder Swain; daughter, Deborah Jean Swain Joyner and sister, Nancy Banks. L. B. was a member of Lawrence Baptist Church and retired from Carolina Metal Works.

Funeral services will be held Monday December 9, 2019 at 2:00 PM Walker Funeral Home Chapel-Windsor. Private burial will be in the Woodland City Cemetery.

Survivors include stepdaughters, Lisa Mosley of Elizabeth City and Vickie Callahan and husband Douglas of Freedom IN; brother, Roy E. Swain of Ahoskie and sister, Janice Hughes of Merry Hill; 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service on Monday the 9 ^th . (1-2:00 PM)
