Ms. Lita passed peacefully on January 13, 2024 in her sleep at the Windsor House Assisted Living Facility in Windsor, NC where she had resided for the past 4 years.

She was born in East Lake, NC., on October 25, 1939 to the late Worth Bagley and Wilhelmina Twiford Overman.

She loved to travel and always spoke of her desire to work and relocate, well into her 80s. She was an independent, little lady and knew how to get where she was going and would figure out how to get back later.

Lita is survived by her brother, Doug Overman.In lieu of flowers, it was asked that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association in her memory.
