Linda Barnhart Tate, 74, of North Chesterfield, VA passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Manor Care Health Services in Richmond, VA.  Born on February 2, 1944.

She lived in Bertie County during her childhood and completed studies at Hardbarger Business College in Raleigh, NC.  She is survived by her husband Warren Tate of North Chesterfield; sister Patricia Schilbe and husband Hal of Richmond, VA; brother Blount Knowles and wife Dale of Windsor, NC; and niece Susan Knowles Warren and husband Mike of Pittsboro, NC.

A graveside memorial service will be held Sunday, April 28 at 2 p.m. in Edgewood Cemetery in Windsor, NC.
