Linda "Sue Baby" White Megill 73, of Campbell Hill Road, died Wednesday November 21, 2018 at Vidant Edgecombe Hospital in Tarboro. She was born in Bertie County July 27, 1945 to the late A. Woodrow and Beulah Baker White and was predeceased by a sister, Shirley Harden.  Linda worked with the FBI, drove a school bus for 16 years and retired as a security guard.

A graveside funeral service will be held Friday November 23, 2018 at 2:30 PM at Highland Memorial Gardens in Ahoskie, NC. Rev. Tim Parker will officiate.  The family will receive friends following the service.

Survivors include her sons, Charles Anthony Megill of Aulander, NC, Thomas "Woody" Megill and wife Jennifer of Williamston; sisters, Lillian Wolfe (Charles), Rebecca Himelright and Ethel Mizelle (Bobby) all of Aulander, NC, Virgie Bordeaux of Roper, NC, Judy Briggs of Fredericksburg, VA: brother, Thomas Richard White (Patricia) of Aulander, NC; grandchildren, Joshua and Jessica Megill; step grandchildren, Rebecca Pearson, Jessica and William Jones; step great grandchildren Ashley and Sarah Pearson.
