Lillian Liverman
Pruden
Sep 7, 1927 — May 8, 2020
Lillian Forehand Liverman Pruden, 92, of St. Pauls, NC, formerly of Merry Hill, NC, died at home, Friday, May 8, 2020. She was born in Hertford County on September 7, 1927, to the late Rupert Owen Liverman and Ima Forehand Liverman and predeceased by her husband, Edmund Jordan Pruden, Jr.; sister, Mildred Liverman Johnson; and brothers Rupert Edward Liverman, Richard Owen Liverman, Benjamin Charles Liverman, and Jim Pearce Liverman.
Lillian was an administrative assistant with Avoca Division of RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company in Merry Hill, NC. She graduated from Harrellsville High School and attended Campbell College, now Campbell University. She was a member of the Historic Hope Foundation and Windsor United Methodist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher and member of United Methodist Women. Her grandchildren affectionately called her Shoo Shoo, a nickname that stuck with many others. During the years before her affliction with Alzheimers, her family remembers her for her ability to love her family well and provide a life-giving home. Particularly during the holidays, she enjoyed gathering her family and preparing delicious meals. During her later years, she was recognized by her sweet nature – loved by all who knew her.
