Lester "Jack" Lee Woolard, 91 of Tyner Rd., died Monday November 12, 2023, at his home.

Jack was born on May 7, 1932, in Pitt County to the late George and Rosa Jones Woolard. He retired from maintenance with Martin County. He loved to fish and hunt and play his guitar, and he loved to garden. He was preceded in death by his wife Myrtle Woolard whom he married December 12, 1969, brothers Horace, Thad, Dewey and Marshall Woolard, sisters, Zadie Marie Everette, and Icelean Adams.

Survivors include; sons, Sammy Woolard of New Bern, and Darrell J. Woolard of Tarboro; stepson, Jerry Wynne of Bath; daughters, Debbie Woolard of Tarboro, and Vickie Woolard Throne of Rocky Mount; stepdaughter, Janice Webb of Bear Grass; grandchildren 18; great grandchildren, 21.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at 11:00 AM, at Martin Memorial Gardens with Rev. Lamar Jackson officiating.

The family will be receiving friends at 1494 Tyner Rd., Williamston, NC.
