Kay Frances Waters Rollings, 78, of Cabin Creek Dr., died Tuesday November 8, 2022, at her home.

Kay was born on June 7, 1944, in Washington County to the late Elsie Amariah and Della Chambers Waters. Kay graduated from Plymouth High School in 1962. Kay married her husband Earl "Jim" Robert Rollings on January 30, 1973. Kay was a member of Poplar Chapel Church of Christ. She was a homemaker and worked as a secretary at Owens Storage. Her greatest joy was her love of Jesus, her family, and friends. She faithfully honored her husband Jim during his military career in the Army, supporting whatever he had to do and wherever he had to go in order to serve his country. Her faith in Jesus brought her family to believe as well, and to her, that was her greatest achievement.

Loving Wife, Mama, and Nana were the sweetest words to her ears.

Survivors include; husband, Earl "Jim" Robert Rollings of the home; daughter, Sabrina Dean and husband Eddie of Kinston; and grandson, Matthew Keith of Raleigh, NC.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her half-brother, James Marvin Hardison.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Poplar Chapel Church of Christ with Larry Woodley, David Jones, and Glen Crocker officiating. A private burial will follow in Jackson Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
