Kathy Arleen Perry 60, of Barbiecan Way, died October 2, 2020 at her home.  She was born in Herford County to Ester Perry and the late Henry Leon Perry.  She was predeceased by her brothers Ronnie and Donald Perry.  Kathy was a former dispatcher for Bertie County, she was a writer, an avid reader of crime novels and she enjoyed going to the beach.  Kathy was a very loving mother of two sons.

A private service is planned.

Kathy is survived by her mother, Ester. P Perry of Colerain; sons, Joshua Calderon of Apex and Cliff Carlos Phelps, II of Manteo; sisters, Anne Perry of New Bern, Lynette Brabble (Pat, Jr.) of Ahoskie, and Teresa Farless (Stuart) of Colerain and brother, Henry Vann Perry of Colerain.
