Kathy Leary Hoggard 73, a resident of Edenton House and formerly of Windsor, died Saturday, January 23, 2021.  She was born in Bertie county January 18, 1948 to the late James Monroe and Hazel Jernigan Leary and was predeceased by her husband, Johnny Bruce Hoggard; brother, Richard "Ricky" Leary; grandchild, Jessie.

Kathy, a homemaker, was a member of Republican Baptist Church, a store Manager, tax collector and restaurant cashier clerk.

Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at 11:00 am at Edgewood.  Rev. Buck Leary will officiate.

Survivors include her sisters; Peggy L. Jordan and husband Keith of Tyner, Pamela L. Britt and husband, Bennie of Bonaire GA; brother, James David Leary and wife Patsy of Windsor; daughter Teresa Perry of Greenville; grandchildren, Jamie Whichard of Greenville, Chris Perry of Colerain; great grandchildren, Kaelyn, Hunter and Maddie Sutton also of Greenville; many special nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law, and other extended family.
