Kathy Embler Cobb 61, of 204 Bess Landing Road, died Monday, February 4, 2019 at Duke University Hospital. She was born July 6, 1957 to the late Charles Embler and Nancy Hoggard Embler and was predeceased by her biological father, Hilton Eugene "Pete" Clark; a sister, Angie Whaley.  Kathy was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church and employed at Scotch Hall Preserve.  Kathy was very active in Relay For Life.

A celebration of Kathy's life will be held Thursday, February 7, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Walker Funeral Chapel. Rev. Dr. Chris Lee will officiate.

She is survived by her husband, Randy D. Cobb of the home; daughters, Jessica C. Riggins and husband Chase of Williamston; Randi D. Layton and husband Michael of Washington, DC; son, Christopher Cobb and wife Kylee of Stumpy Point; sisters, Debbie Peaks of Williamston, Ellen Evans of Bluffton, SC; brothers, Chuck Embler and Ricky Embler both of Thomasville, Johnny Clark of Bluffton, SC; grandchildren, Gracie Mizelle, Trent Mizelle, Raegan Cobb, Aubree Cobb and Beau Cobb.

The family will receive friends following the memorial service at the Walker Funeral Home and from the home at other times. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Relay For Life, 201 Narron Lane, Ahoskie, NC 27910.
