Mrs. Judy Roberson Davis, 66 a lifelong resident of Williamston, passed away peacefully on Monday morning March 3, 2025 at her home on Harris Street.

A Celebration of Judy's life will be at 2:00 PM Friday, March 7, 2025 at Williamston First Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastors Robbie Parnell and Roger Leggett officiating the service. Pallbearers are Charles Latham, Shannon Modlin, Julian Britt, Jaxson Modlin, and Jason Modlin. Honorary pallbearers are Justin Gurganus and Price Jones.  Burial will follow in the Hamilton Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Thursday evening March 6, 2025 at Williamston First Pentecostal Holiness Church from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM and other times at the home of her sister, Brenda Wells, 200 Oak Street, Williamston.

Judy was born in Williamston on June 23, 1958 to the now deceased Esther Beacham Modlin and Andrew Modlin. Judy later married Samuel Davis and was a longtime employee of J & W Sandwich Company where she served as an assistant manager and driver. Judy enjoyed her animals and she especially loved cat recues and gardening. Judy was an active member of Williamston First Pentecostal Holiness Church. In addition to her parents, Judy was predeceased by sisters: Betty Modlin and Esther Louise Duckwall, a brother: Randall Keith Modlin, and one brother-in-law, Phillip Wells.

Survivors include: her husband, Samuel Davis; two sisters, Linda Edmondson (Willie), and Brenda Wells, both of Williamston; two brothers, Williams Douglas 'Doug' Modlin and Danny Charles Modlin both of Williamston. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
