Judy Mizelle Askew 74, of Pine Ridge Road died Wednesday June 12, 2019 at her home.  She was born in Windsor, NC, October 16, 1944 to the late Jimmie and Elsie Harmon Mizelle and predeceased by a sister, Joyce Dickens and brother, David Mizelle.

Judy was a member at Ross Baptist Church and former Sunday school teacher. She retired from Perdue as an accounting secretary.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and loved to sew.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June, 14, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Ross Baptist Church. Dr. Jeffery Russell and Rev. Ricky Bishop will officiate.  Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Harlin Askew of the home; daughter, Alisa Perry and husband Scott of Hertford, Renee Hoggard of Windsor; sister, Betty Warren of Chesapeake, VA, brother, Jim L. Mizelle of Colerain; grandchildren, Jackson Perry, Ben, Joey, Josh and Jarrett Hoggard.

The family will receive friends Thursday June 13 ^th from 7-8:30 PM at Walker Funeral Home and from the home at other times.  Memorial gifts may be made to Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease Foundation, Inc; 3634 W. Market Street, Akron, OH 44333.
