Judith Norvelle Britt, 86, of Mount Gould passed away on September 28th 2024,
at ECU Hospital of Greenville. A native of Bertie County, North Carolina, she was
the daughter of the late Thomas Lee Norvelle and Lessie Mae Norvelle.

She was a devout Christian and loved her church family. She had a knack for
ceramics and was an avid painter. Judy was a wonderful cook and loved her time in
the kitchen. Judy and her late husband, Carroll, were married 60 years and enjoyed
traveling around the world together.

Judy is survived by her loving daughter; Jan Siplon of Cummings, Georgia; and
her two wonderful sons; William Britt of Jacksonville, Florida; and Michael Britt
of Climax, North Carolina. Judy is blessed to have many grandchildren; Patrick
Britt of Jacksonville, Florida; Thomas Siplon and Lilly Siplon of Cummings,
Georgia; Ashley Britt of Astoria, Oregon; Kristen Wolfe of Bunnlevel, North
Carolina; Jordan Britt of Climax, North Carolina. Judy also has several great
grandchildren, Arthur, Asher, and Ryker.

Judy is also survived by one brother, Thomas Judson of Utah and a host of nieces,
nephews and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll
Merton Britt.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Riverside Baptist Church with Reverend Al Garrell and  Reverend Bill Payne officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall of Riverside Baptist
Church, 1206 NC Highway 45, Merry Hill, NC 27957

Flowers are appreciated or in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the
Riverside Baptist Church Memorial Fund for the Hospitality Committee or the

Christian Harbor Baptist Church Building Fund.
