Joyce Wynne Miller Perry, 83, died Saturday, August 22, 2020 at her home.  A resident of Williamston after retiring from BB & T in Tarboro. Joyce was a communication banker with BB & T for many years. She was a member of the Kiwanis Club and the Chamber of Commerce in Tarboro. She worked after her retirement, part time at Martin Community College.

Joyce enjoyed gardening, girl's night out on Thursdays with dear friends, she also loved to bird watch from her back door, spending as much time as possible with her family and friends, especially during the holidays. Joyce loved to interior decorate her home and her children's homes when she visited.

Joyce is survived by her daughters Tounya M. Halsey (Glenn), Michelle Miller (Wayne) and Stephanie Cress (Eric). Her grandchildren, Nathan Eastwood, Joshua Halsey, Randi Goss (Doug), Aaron Halsey (Mel) and three great grandchildren, Jacob Halsey and Jason and Charlie Goss. She will be dearly missed by her best friend and dance partner for 25 years Rudolph Everett and many nieces and nephews.

Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, John L. Wynne and Winnie Mobley Wynne, her brother, Edward Wynne, her sisters, Eunice Wynne Perry, Betty Lou Wynne Edwards, and Marie Wynne Davis. Father of her children D. Wayne Miller and second husband Gerald Perry.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alligood Church of God, 1891 Mill Hole Rd. Washington NC 27889.

Graveside memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Edgewood Cemetery in Windsor at 2:00 PM with Rev. Gary Bateman officiating. The family will be receiving friends at 200 Santree Drive E4, Williamston, NC
