Joseph Francis Cobb, 74, a resident of Roanoke Landing Nursing Home and formerly of Hyman Ferry Road, Windsor, died Monday March 9,  2020.  He was born in Bertie County August 8, 1945 to the late Clyde and Virginia Phelps Cobb and predeceased by two brothers, David and Vernon Cobb.  Joe was a farmer and member of Cashie Baptist Church and active with the Gideons. He was a veteran of the US National Guard.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 13, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Cashie Baptist Church.  The Rev. Dr. Carroll Tarkington and Rev. Todd Cienski will officiate.  Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery.

Survivors include his daughter, Elizabeth Cobb Dickson (Pete) of Winterville; son, Chris Cobb of Windsor; brother, Warren Cobb (Jean); sister in laws, Christine and Jane Cobb; grandchildren; Cody Cobb and Logan Bagley; many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Friday March 13 ^th from 1:00 PM until service time at the Cashie Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
