Joseph "Joe" Clifton Wiggins, Jr., 44 of Woodard Rd., died Monday March 1, 2021.

Joe was born on January 31, 1977 in Martin County to Katrina Ellis Langley and the late Joseph Clifton Wiggins, Sr. Joe was a farmer with Chris Cobb Farms in Windsor. He loved people and loved to cook and loved racing. Joe enjoyed coaching and watching his children play sports. He was a board member of the Roanoke-Cashie Youth Dream Team and had been a volunteer fireman with the Williamston Fire and Rescue Department. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Stuart Langley.

Survivors include his wife, Stephanie Adams Wiggins of Windsor; mother, Katrina Ellis Langley of Chocowinity; son, Joseph "Little Joe" Clifton Wiggins, III of Robersonville; daughters, Hailey Wiggins of Windsor and Lindsey Robinson of Williamston; brother, Toby Langley of Bear Grass; sisters, Rhonda Langley of Williamston and Christy Suthard of Jackson, Ga.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Walker Chapel with Rev. Kurt Honican officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Roanoke-Cashie Youth Dream Team, 446 B Sutton Rd. Merry Hill, NC 27957.
