Joseph "Joe
Boy" Roberson
Mar 17, 1954 — Nov 8, 2025
Williamston
Dateline: Williamston, NC
Joseph Roberson, known as "Joe Boy," age 71, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. Born the youngest of thirteen children, Joe Boy grew up with a big heart and an even bigger sense of family — a trait he carried throughout his life.
Joe Boy is survived by the love of his life, Vickie, and together they shared 55 beautiful years of marriage. Their life together was filled with love, laughter, and countless memories. He was a proud father to two beautiful daughters, Kim (J.P.) and Heather (Kyle), and the most devoted Grandpa/Papa to six grandchildren Jean Paul, Amber, Jeremiah, Matthew, Maddox, Summer and two great-grandchildren Madison and J.J who were the light of his life. One brother Alonza and one sister Judie Leggett.
He is proceeded by his parents, John and Betty; Brothers, John Earl, Bud, William, David, Mac, Stoney, Zookle, and Eddie; Sisters Sadie, Dorothy, and Linda.
He spent more than 30 years working as a bread man, a job that suited his hardworking spirit and gave him many friendships along the way. Outside of work, he found joy in the simple things — especially music and his daily walks outside, where he could appreciate the world around him.
Joe Boy will forever be remembered for his kind heart, his humor, and the love he had for his family. He leaves behind a legacy of dedication, warmth, and unwavering love.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
