Jimmy Odell Peede 80, of Charles Taylor Road, died Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at the Brian Center in Windsor. He was born in Bertie County June 5, 1938 to the late Oscar and Blanche Newsome Peede.  Jimmy was a farmer and member of Republican Baptist Church and the Snakebite Hunting Club where he served as President.  Jimmy served his country in the US Army National Guard.

Survivors include his sons, Johnny Peede (Angela) of Edenton, David Peede (Andrea) of South Mills; step-daughter, Janet Pierce (Billy) of Windsor; step-sons, Charlie Harmon (Robin) of Windsor, Robert Harmon (Penny) of Ahoskie; fiancée' Agnes Harmon of Aulander, sister, JoAnn Peede Skeens of Windsor; grandchildren, Samantha Peede, Kimberly Peede, Jessica Peede; step grandchildren, Lauryn Bray and Jake Bray.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 20, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Walker Funeral Chapel. Rev. Tim Parker and Rev. Bob Skeens will officiate.  Burial will follow in  Edgewood Cemetery, Windsor, with military honors,

The family will receive friends Thursday July 19, 2018 from 6-7:30 PM at Walker Funeral Home.
