Jessie Mae Lane Adams, 90 of Merry Hill, NC passed away on October 9, 2020 .

Jessie Mae was born in Chowan County on June 19, 1930 and was the daughter of the late Jerry Vernon and Lona Allen Lane. She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Max Gardner Adams, daughter Jill Adams Morris, two grandchildren, Roberta and John Adams, sisters, Alice Davenport, Sarah Townsend, Louise Layden, Elizabeth Rogerson, Edith Mansfield, Evelyn (Jackie) Mansfield and brothers, Vernon, Walter, Larry and Thomas Lane.

Surviving are her children, Dennis (Susan) Adams, Ray (Terry) Adams, Lona (Brad) Binnicker, Penny (Tess) Adams, grandchildren, Maggie (Trevor) Adams, Lisa Adams, Lane (Nicole)Adams Cody (Brooklyn) Adams, Anna Morris, Sophie Morris, Sally (Chris) Ruth, Carter Chenault, Tyler Binnicker, Zoe and Jane Manolas and eight great grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held at Riverside Baptist Church.
