It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of USMC LCLP Mr. Jesse Franklin Roberson, Jr. age 75, passed away Wednesday June 2, 2026, in Roswell, New Mexico.

Mr. Jesse Franklin Roberson, Jr. was born on November 5, 1950, in Williamston, N.C. to Anita Italiano and Jesse Franklin Roberson, Sr. He attended Martin County Schools and later served his country in The U.S.M.C. as an LCLP, he was a vehicle operator and sharpshooter. Later he married the former Ellen Ward Bell after they met at the Fruit of The Loom plant in Williamston shortly after he returned from Vietnam. He later married the former Venus Barnes, and they were married for 30 years until her passing.  Mr. Jesse was a member of Williamston First Pentecostal Holliness Church.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his second wife, Venus Roberson; paternal grandfather, Lewis Roberson and his grandmother, Sally Roberson. He is survived by his daughter, Anita Lee Hoggard (Scott) of Windsor; two sons: Jesse Eric Roberson (Aleshia) of Aulander, and Lewis Allen Roberson of Aulander; other survivors include: eleven grandchildren: Cesilia Tovar, Bertha Ortiz, Juan Elizalde Jr., Jasmine Elizalde, Jessica Elizalde, and Alondra Elizalde, Asher Roberson youngest to carry on the Roberson legacy, Dustin Roberson the oldest grandson to carry on the Roberson legacy, Alicia Roberson, Tanya Roberson and Erika Roberson and fifteen great grandchildren.

A graveside service with military honors will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Woodlawn Cemetery, Williamston NC with pastor Roger Leggett officiating.
