Jesse Gray Lilley, 95 of Fire Dept. Rd. died Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2022, at his home.

Mr. Lilley was born on December 29, 1926, in Martin County, to the late Jesse Stinnet and Lilley Cornelia Frances Lilley. He was a delivery driver for ParGas. Jesse served his country in the US Army. He was preceded in death by his brother, Lester Corey and sisters, Fannie Corey Guy, Myrtle Corey Kennedy, and Carrie Lee Lilley Coltrain.

Survivors include his wife, Idalia Howell Lilley of the home; stepdaughters, Faye O. Gilbert of Williamston, and Dianne O. Hardison of Newport News, VA.

A private burial will be held at a later date.
