Jerry Lee White, 70, of Askewville Road, died Tuesday November 8, 2022, at his home.  He was born in Bertie County February 18, 1952, to the late Aubrey Lee and Velma Whitaker White and was predeceased by a son, Aaron White.  Jerry was a member of Askewville Baptist Church and retired from the NC Department of Transportation as a road sign painter.  After retirement he opened his own business, Jerry's Signs.  Jerry was a member of Cashie Golf and Country Club and a retired member of the Askewville Volunteer Fire Department.

Funeral services will be held, Friday November 11, 2022  at 2:00 PM at Askewville Baptist Church,  Rev. Zack Hicks will officiate.  Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery, Windsor.

Survivors include his wife, Cheryl "Wendy" Perry White of the home; daughters, Melissa Northcott and husband, Tony of Colerain, Beverly Baker and husband, Jason of Askewville, daughter-in-law, Kimberly White; brothers, Tony White, and wife Martha of Askewville, Terry White of Va. Beach, VA; grandchildren, Haley Northcott, Holden Northcott, Emilee Baker, Kevin Baker, Avery White, Ethan White.

The family will receive friends Thursday November 10 ^th at their home from 6-8 PM at 448 Askewville Road.  Memorial gifts may be made to the Askewville Volunteer Fire Dept, 105 Askewville South Railroad Street, Windsor, NC 27983.
