Mr. Jeffrey Abram Gray, 67, a resident of James Street of Parmele, N.C. went home to be with Jesus peacefully on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at The Service League of Greenville Inpatient Hospice House.
Jeffery was born on May 29, 1957 in Rocky Mount, NC to the late Glynn James Gray and Abe Gray. He graduated from Robersonville High School in 1975 and later graduated from East Carolina University with a AB degree. Jeffery worked at Cargill Grain Company in Williamston for many years, later he worked with Brown & Wood Buick GMC dealership in Greenville, NC for 30 years in the service department and later retired. In his spare time he loved to hunt and was a member of the Old Hickory Hunting Club in the Whitehurst station area. He was a member of the former Parmele Methodist Church.
Along with his parents and his four first cousins he was preceded in death by Carlton (Sonny) James, Ann Boykin, John Edgerton, and Ben James. Surviving are his seven first cousins; Patsy Evans of Oregon, Cynthia James of Williamston, Jean Maner of Williamston, Bill James of Georgia, Jim Edgerton of Kenly, Becky Grady of Texas, and Anna James of West Virginia.
A graveside serve will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday June 25, 2025 at Martin Memorial Gardens in Williamson NC.
Memorial donations can be made to The Service League of Greenville Inpatient Hospice House 920 Wellness Drive Greenville, NC 27834 in Honor of Jeffery Abram Gray.
