Janice Carol Harrison Gibson, 66 of Cowin Rd., died Monday July 8, 2019 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

Mrs. Gibson was born on July 15, 1952 in Martin County to the late Roland and Marie Martin Harrison. She was a quilter at Hatteras Hammocks and a member of Rose of Sharon FWB Church, where she was a youth leader.

Survivors include her husband, Phillip H. Gibson, Sr. of the home; sons, Phillip H. Gibson, Jr. and Casey Allen Gibson both of Bear Grass; brother, James Roland Harrison of Stokes; sisters, Fannie Mae Perry of Stokes and Sue Bland of Bear Grass; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Rose of Sharon FWB Church with Rev. Dale Belvin officiating. Burial will follow in the Gibson Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday at the church from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
