Jane Evans White, 78 of Pine Ridge Road, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus, Wednesday, May 15, 2024.

Mrs. Jane was born on September 12, 1945 to the late Luther Washington and Janie Hughes Evans.

Jane was compassionate and caring and an empathetic listener. Following her retirement from a long career with Honeywell Protection Services, she began a second career with Quality Home Staffing, which she loved. Her co-workers and clients became like family. She also loved flowers, gardening, and road trips with family.

Jane married the love of her life Robert S. White almost 61 years ago, and through their marriage, God blessed them with a wonderful daughter and two grandchildren. Her family was her most prized possession that she treasured more than any other earthly thing. Her grandchildren brought her endless joy, and she loved spoiling them every chance she could. She was a member of Capeharts Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her, brothers; Charles and Edward Evans; sisters: Irene Quinn and Doris Harrell.

She is survived by her husband Robert S. White of the home; one daughter, Lori White Pucher and husband Christian of Norfolk, VA; and two grandchildren, Charlotte and Christian Pucher of Norfolk, VA.

We are blessed and very grateful to have known her and to call her sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and friend.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, May 17, 2024 at Capeharts Baptist Church in Merry Hill, NC. Pastor Ben Bunch will be officiating. The family invites you to join them at Hillcrest Cemetery in Colerain immediately following the service for the burial.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church, and other times from home.
