Jan Britt Siplon, 60, of Cumming, Georgia, passed away peacefully at her home on June 4, 2025, just one day before her birthday.

Born in Greensboro, North Carolina, Jan was the beloved daughter of Carroll and Judy Britt, both of whom preceded her in death. She grew up surrounded by love and laughter, alongside her two older brothers, Mike and Billy, who survive her.

Jan had a long and successful career in advertising at Scuba Diving Magazine and later in marketing for several Savannah businesses. Her work was marked by her natural ability to connect with people, understand their needs, and bring ideas to life. Her contributions and personality left lasting impressions on co-workers and clients.

Jan was the true heart of her family and a source of joy to everyone who knew her. She shared 28 beautiful years of marriage with her husband and best friend, Page Siplon. Their life together was full of love, laughter, and deep friendship — a bond that lit up their lives and to the lives of those around them.

Jan's greatest joy came from being a mother to her children, Thomas and Lily, whom she loved fiercely and unconditionally. Being a mom seemed to come naturally to Jan, and she was good at it. Jan was all-in when it came to her kids, leading their schools PTA, cheering Thomas from the soccer sidelines, hauling the horse trailer for trail rides with Lily, or just sitting and listening with an open heart – she was always there.

A lifelong animal lover and dog rescuer, Jan especially cherished her horses. Owning and caring for them was not just a hobby but a deep source of joy, peace, and connection. Whether in the barn or out on the trail, she found a sense of purpose and calm in their presence. This connection was made deeper because she shared it with Lily.

Jan found beauty in the natural world—in the quiet of her garden, the wonder of the ocean as a scuba diver, stopping to pick flowers on a trail ride, or the sunshine of a beach day with family and friends. Her warmth, kindness, and infectious laughter drew people in. She never met a stranger, and her radiant smile would light up any room. Jan's spirit and legacy lives on in her family, her friends, and all the lives she touched with her generous heart and gentle soul.

Two celebrations of Jan's life will be held, one at Riverside Baptist Church in Merry Hill, NC on July 19th, and Moonlight Farm in Cumming, GA on July 26th. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to support a cause close to Jan's heart – Horse Rescue and Equine Therapy https://everloved.com/life-of/janet-siplon/obituary/ .
