James Arthur Stout, 81 of Dorothy Dr., died Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Martin General Hospital.

James was born on September 20, 1941 in New Jersey, to the late Herman and Anne Stout. He was a truck driver with Trans America.

Survivors include his sons, James A. Stout, Jr. of Williamston, Eric Wayne Stout of Seaside Heights, NJ, Bruce Allen Stout of Toms River, NJ; daughters, June Evelyn Smith of Williamston and Janet Lee Fredricks of Wilson; grandchildren, 12, great grandchildren, 26 and great great grandchildren, 5.

A memorial services will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at 2:00 PM at the Walker Funeral Chapel with Rev. William Roberson officiating.
