It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James Allen Mendenhall, age 63, of Summerset Drive who passed away Thursday, July 10, 2026, at his home.

James was born on August 1, 1963, to Ada Chiarelli Mendenhall and James Arthur Mendenhall in Williamston, North Carolina. James was a truck driver for Ron Toppin out of Plymouth, NC for a while. He loved to fish and ride his motorcycle.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Ada Chiarelli Mendenhall, James Arthur Mendenhall, one daughter, Jessica Mendenhall, one brother, Ralph Mendendall, and one sister, Maria Mendenhall Taylor.

James is survived by his long-term partner, Carolyn Hoggard Beacham; one step son Michael Beacham; one grandson, Karson; nephew, James Robert Mendenhall; great niece, Jamey Rawls; great great nephew, Easton Rawls; brother-in-law, Billy Taylor; and his sister, Faith Mendenhall.

Per James wishes, no services will be held.
