James Lowell Everette, Sr., 87 a resident of Republican Road passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at his home.  Lowell was born January 1, 1933 in Martin County to the late Monroe and Mary Andrews Everette.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Pauline Crisp Everette and brother Billy Everett.  Lowell was a retired probation officer for the State of NC and a Veteran of the Korean War where he served in the US Coast Guard.  Lowell enjoyed being retired and fishing.

Survivors include his two sons, Jimmy Everette of Dover, DE and Keith Everette (Mary) of Greenville, NC and two grandchildren, Zack and Holly Everette.
