James Ace Edmondson, 71 of 24777 US 64, died Tuesday June 18, 2019 at Vidant Beaufort Hospital.

James was born on August 2, 1947 in Martin County to the late Willie B. and Dorothy Thomas Edmondson. He was a self-employed ceramic tile installer, attended the Williamston First Pentecostal Holiness Church and was a US Army veteran. James was the president of the Ace Hunting Club and a member of the Hyman Hunting Club. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Survivors include; wife, Dorothy Williams Edmondson of the home; daughters, Jennifer Page of Williamston and Kimberly Jo Phelps of Arizona; brothers, Willie Ray and Melvin Eugene Edmondson both of Williamston; sister, Ruth Harris of Newport News, Va.; six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Williamston First Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Roger Leggett and Rev. Garrett Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery with military honors.

The family will receive friends Friday evening at the church from 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM and other times at the home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Jamesville EMS and Rescue, 1035 Hayes Dr. Jamesville, NC 27846.
