James Russell Bullock, 98 of Weaver Dr., died Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at his daughter's home.
Russell was born on February 28, 1924, in Martin County to the late Charlie Mac and Minnie Louise Lilley Bullock. He owned and operated Bullock's TV Service for many years. Russell was a member of the Williamston Presbyterian Church and served in the US Army Air Force during WWII. He loved to fish. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Mae Brown Bullock; brothers, Charles, Earl and Bill Bullock; sisters, Anne Owens and Bernice Bullock.
Survivors include his daughters, Connie White (Jim) of Williamston and Cyndy Levtzow (John) of Cary; sisters in law, Bette Bullock of Rocky Mount, Alice Bullock of Rocky Mount and Diane Moore of Greenville; grandchildren, Rusty Willard (Cindy) of Denton, TX, Brandon Edward Levtzow of Cary, Matthew Gray Levtzow of Seattle, WA; Hope Elizabeth Decker (Aaron) of Cary; great grandchildren Anesa McBee (Tyler) of Como, TX, Ray Mullinax of Valley View, TX, Grace Lillian Decker of Cary, Catherine Mae Decker of Cary; great great grandchildren, Kevin Mullinax and Tyner McBee.
Graveside funeral services with military honors will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Woodlawn Cemetery, with Ronnie Brownfield officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service.
