Obituary

Jacquelyn Bundy Jackson, a resident of Belmont Street, Windsor died Monday, December 7, 2020 at Vidant Roanoke-Chowan Hospital.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, December 11, 2020 at Edgewood Cemetery with Pastor Lonnie Coker officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.

Jacquelyn was born on February 1, 1939 in Elizabeth City to the late Mildred Jennings Bundy and O.L. (Pete) Bundy Jr. She attended Pasquotank County Schools and attended Asbury College in Wilmore KY; she had worked in home furnishings as a sales person and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Everette Jackson.

Survivors include: one daughter, Suzanne Elizabeth Paugh (Woody) of Whipple OH; two sons: Elliott Fortune Jackson (Lisa) of Concord and Jonathan Patrick Jackson (Tricia) of Maumelle, AR; ten grandchildren: Michael Martin, Jamie Galloway, Alexandra Paugh, Catherine Paugh, Kayla Jackson, Hannah Jackson, Nathan Jackson, Ethan Jackson, Sarah Jackson, Rebecca Jackson; three great grandchildren: Rachel Galloway, Natalie Galloway, and Milo (Bear) Paugh. Other survivors include: two sisters, Phyllis Peele (Clark) of Terra Ceia, Sylvia Brooks (Tom) of Merry Hill; and one brother Richard Bundy (Carol) of Salem OR.
