Jackie Lynn Howard Carranco, 62 of Nicholson St., died Tuesday, October 20, 2021, at Vidant Beaufort Hospital.

Jackie was born on August 3, 1959, in Martin County to the late Francis Biggs and Betty Zerilda Leggett Howard. She was a homemaker, loved her dog Mia and loved her grandchildren.

Survivors include; husband, Arturo Carranco of Washington; son, Tony Phelps and wife Stacy of Hickory; daughters, Renee Joyner and husband Kevin of Williamston and Kristi Ward and fiancée Justin Booth of Diana, TX; brothers, Billy Howard of Farmlife and Danny Howard and wife Deb of Bear Grass; sisters, Betsy Marriner and husband Ralph of Williamston, Melody Ragan and husband Ken of Greenville and Bertie Hardison and husband Jimmy of Farmlife; grandchildren, Kenleigh Ward, Zoe Ward, Fischer Joyner and Parker Joyner.

Memorial services will be held Sunday, October 24, 2021, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Walker Funeral Home, with Evangelist Mark Keel officiating.
