Irma Faye Knox Edmonds, 91 of Troy Rd., died Friday, November 17, 2023, at ECU Medical Center.

Irma was born on October 22, 1932, in Martin County, to the late Daniel and Martha Griffin Knox. She retired as a textile worker from West Point Pepperell.

Survivors include; daughters, Melody Farmer of Greenville, Kimberly Boyette of Mount Olive, and Sherri Jo Bass (Ricky) of Chocowinity; son, Gerald Douglas Deas of Greenville;sister-in-law, Alma Knox of Gold Point; sisters, Lorraine Stalls of Hamilton, Louise Thompson of Tarboro, and Hazel Oakley of Williamston; brother, Harry Knox of Tarboro; grandchildren, eight; great grandchildren, eight.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
