Iris " Mickey" Wiggins White, 86, of White Oak Road, passed away Tuesday March 28, 2023 at her home.  She was born in Martin County November 28, 1936 to the late James and Roxanna Corey Wiggins and predeceased by her husband, Willie Alfred White, Sr., sons, Jimmy and Dennis White; sisters, Joan Dunlow, Carrie Wiggins; brothers, Clifton, Harry, Wilson and Oscar Wiggins.  Mickey was a member of the Askewville Baptist Church and taught Sunday school for 40 plus years,  She was a self-employed farmer and a devoted homemaker. She loved to garden and be around her many grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 31, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Askewville Baptist Church. Rev. Zack Hicks and Rev. Freddie Harris will officiate. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery, Windsor.

She is survived by sons, Donald White of the home, Willie Alfred "Al" White of Fort Lauderdale, FL, grandchildren; Trent (Kelsey)White, Chad (Lauren) White, Kim (Josh) Kilpatrick, Dawn (Ashley) Mizelle, Denise (Jason) Jones, Caroline (Shane) Tripp, Bailey White, Taylor White; great grandchildren, Dylan, Reed, Addie and Jaxon White, Zander, Hallie Mizelle; Owen Kilpatrick, Zack, Kayla Mizelle, Gunner, Roxy Jones, Scarlett Tripp and Trace Miller; sister-in-law, Joyce Wiggins; daughter-in-law, Teresa White.

Memorial gift may be made to Askewville Baptist Church, 110 E. Askewville Street, Windsor, NC  27983. The family will receive friends from Mickey's home.
