Ida Jean Thomas Mizelle, 85 of Woodard Rd., died Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Three Rivers Health and Rehab in Windsor.

Mrs. Mizelle was born on March 2, 1935 in Bertie County to the late Claude and Maggie Mizelle Thomas. She was a salesclerk at the Windsor Pharmacy and a member of Siloam Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Alfred Jordan Mizelle.

Survivors include; daughters, Claudia Cobb, Vickie Copeland and Karen Coffield all of Windsor and Sharon Clark of Deep Run; sisters, Mary Lou Anders and Peggy Anders both of Windsor; grandchildren, Donnie Cobb, Bradford Copeland, Charles Copeland, Jr., Chris Coffield, Ryan Coffield, Jamie Walls and Christina Clark; great grandchildren, Evan Coffield, Taylor Coffield, Camden Coffield and Makalia Thigpen; great great grandchildren, Austin Waring, Serenity Thigpen and Thomas Coffield.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 26, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Walker Funeral Home Chapel with George Copeland officiating. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Monday, prior to service and other times from the home.
