Henry "Pop" Wade Coffield,77, of Wakelon Road  and formerly of Hamilton, died Friday, November 27, 2020 at his home.  He was born in Martin County, June 1, 1943 to the late Lloyd and Aurelia Harrington Coffield and predeceased by four brothers, Sammy, Charles Alfred, William Jesse and Hosea Coffield.  Pop was a member of Hamilton Baptist Church.  He was a farmer with Rainbow Farms for 56 years. He loved his family, hunting and fishing, but most of all farming.

A graveside funeral service  will be held Monday, November 30, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Hillcrest Cemetery in Colerain.  The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon, November 29th from 4:00 PM-6:00 PM at Walker Funeral Home, Windsor. Masks are required .

Survivors include his wife, Sue Mitchell Coffield of the home: daughters, Kim Rogerson and husband Wayne, of Elizabeth City,  Emily Caldwell and husband Josh of Greenville; sisters, Joyce Sherrill of Boone and Libby Ann Wobbleton of Tarboro; one grandson, Logan Rogerson.
