Gloria Edmondson Peele, 81 of Bear Grass Road, Williamston, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.

A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Gloria will be held Friday, August 8, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Martin Memorial Gardens with Pastor Stan Matthews officiating the service.

Gloria was born May 18, 1944, to the late Mamie McKeel and Luther Edmondson in Williamston. Gloria later married the love of her life Luther Gene Peele on June 24, 1960, and celebrated sixty years together. Gloria worked for Walmart before she retired. Gloria was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church in Williamston.

In addition to her parents and husband, Gloria was predeceased by one brother-In-law, Mayo Howell.

Gloria is survived by her daughter, Cindy Peele Rogerson and husband Norman of Williamston, and her son, Michael Keith Peel and wife Nikki of Stokes, and five grandchildren; Lindy Harrell and husband Sammy, Ryan Peele, Kelsey Peele, Madison Peele, Savannah Peele, and five great grandchildren; Levi, Jayden, Jones, Brooklyn, Bryce and Mallory, one sister Martha Howell of Williamston.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers all memorial donations be mailed to: First Free Will Baptist Church of Williamston, 102 Spruce Street, Williamston, N.C. 27892
