Gladys Mae Hollis Roberson, 87, of NC Hwy 125, passed away Saturday October 9,  2021 at Martin General Hospital. She was born in Martin County September 29, 1934, to the late Johnnie William and Mary Whitaker and predeceased by her husband, William Bill Roberson and son, Claude Roberson as well and four brothers. Gladys was a homemaker and attended Hamilton Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday October 13, 2021, at 3:00 PM at the Walker Funeral Chapel in Williamston. Rev. Phil Howell will officiate. Burial will follow in Martin Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include her daughters, Bobbie Jo Taylor (Jeremiah) of Bear Grass, Susie Bland (Billy) of Williamston, Lucille Wynn (Bennie) of Hamilton; sons, Timmie Roberson of Hamilton, Billy Roberson (Tammy) of Clover, SC, Thadus "Pee Wee" Roberson (Pam) of Williamston, Sammy Roberson (Ruth) of Roberson; sisters, Dorothy R. Daughtry of Suffolk, VA, Mary Etta Roberson of Williamston; brother, James Edward Hollis of Washington; sixteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Wednesday October 13 ^th f rom 1-3 PM before the service at Walker Funeral Home and from 2707 Winslow Road, Robersonville at other times.
