Gerald Carl Hansen, Jr., 59 of S. NC Hwy 49, died Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at his home.

Gerald was born on June 15, 1963, in Martin County to Gerald Carl Hansen, Sr. and the late Georgia Jones Hansen. He was an aviation mechanic with Timco and a US Marine Corp veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Dawn Bowers of the home; sons; Zachary Bowers Hansen and Timothy Bowers Hansen of Burlington; father; Gerald Carl Hansen, Sr. of Athens, TX; brother, John Hansen (Sheri) of Williamston; several nieces.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
