Gene Melburn Hardison, Jr., 74 of Greensboro, passed away at home on the evening of July 16, 2018, surrounded by family.

Gene is survived by his wife of 55 years, Frances Hardison, children, Luke Hardison (Terri), and Jeanne Hardison Beck (Matt), and grandchildren, Jessie Hardison, Katie Hardison Bottum (Brenden), Benjamin Hardison, Matthew Beck, Jr., and Katherine Beck. He is also survived by siblings, Clif Hardison (Shearl) of Williamston, N.C. and Gail Yeager of Garland, Texas.

The viewing and funeral services will be held at Walker Funeral Home on Friday, July 20, 2018. (Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM Friday), 414 N. Haughton St., Williamston NC 27892 followed by a burial at Martin Memorial Gardens on Friday, July 20, 2018.
